Iran Plateau is the home to the old holy city of Choghazanbili and its ziggurat, a UNESCO world heritage site, which was never completed due to Ashurbanipal’s invasion. It is also home to the world’s sixth taller tower, Milad Tower, located in the capital city of Tehran.
Arrive in Tehran
Explore Tehran with a local guide, visiting National Museum, Golestan Palace (UNESCO), Jewellery Museum and Tabiat bridge.
Head to Matinabad visiting Kasahn en route. You will see the Fin Gardens (UNESCO) and the Tabatabaee House.
Optional activities like camel riding and biking. Next visit the village of great antiquity, Abyaneh. Next we go to Isfahan to see Khajo and Sio-se-pol.
Discover the treasures of Isfahan dubbed Nesf-e-Jahan or Half of the world in English. Visit one of the world’s grandest squares, Maidan-e-Naghs-e-Jahan,, Ali-Qapu Palace, Sheikh Lofollah Mosque or Imam Mosque, Chehel Sotun Palace (UNESCO), and Qeisarieh Bazaar (Grand Bazaar).
Start the day in the historic Armenian neighbourhood in Isfahan visiting Vank Cathedral. Later we’ll visit Jome Mosque (UNESCO). Then we head to Yazd visiting, en route, The Pirnia Traditional House Museum.
Today we will explore the Yazd the “City of Wind Catchers.” We will start at the fire temple, the plac eof worship for Zoroastrians. We will visit the Tower of Silence, Amirchackmagh Square and complex, Jamme (Friday mosque) and Dowlatabad Garden.
After breakfast we visit Shiraz to see Eram Garden (UNESCO) the capital of the Persian Empire, then Persepolis (UNESCO) and Naghsh-e-Rostam (royal tombs)
After breakfast we visit Eram Garden (UNESCO), the tomb of Hafez, Nasir-o-Molk Mosque, Vakil Bazaar and the Sanctuary of Shhachergh.
